Here are our kitties at MKC all ready for adoption:

Brandee
Birthdate: July 18, 2023
Brandee was found as a young stray kitten on her own, hungry, sick and very frightened. After receiving care in her PCON foster home Brandee is now healthy & all ready for adoption. Brandee was initially a little cautious at MKC but she enjoys being petted and now seeks attention from visitors. This pretty torbie has lived with lots of other foster kittens and gets along well with all the kitties at MKC. Brandee likes to play with toys and engage in games with the others but is not a fan of roughhousing. Gentle and sweet Brandee would benefit from another kitty for companionship in her forever home. She and friendly tabby Kendric get along well together and would be a great pair for a double adoption. Shy Brandee would benefit from a kitty friend in her forever home.

Kendric
Birthdate: June 14, 2023
Kendric was discovered at 6 months of age as a stray hanging around on a PCON volunteer’s porch. After their search for anyone who may have been missing a young tabby boy produced no answers, the couple fostered Kendric for PCON until he was ready for adoption. As well as his foster mom & dad, Kendric’s foster home included older cats and a large cat-friendly dog. This handsome tabby has adapted well to life at MKC where he enjoys attention and purrs non-stop when petted. Kendric gets along well with the other kitty residents and he and Brandee are often mistaken for siblings. They would be a great pair to adopt together; Kendric should also adjust well in a home that already included other friendly pets.

JollyRancher
Adoption Applications Closed
Birthdate: August 14, 2023
JollyRancher is one of 5 kittens born to a friendly mom kitty from a cat colony in Delhi near our PCON shelter. He was cared for in a backyard shed for his first month of life, then moved to a PCON foster home with his siblings. Jolly is a playful “teen”kitten who has the sweet and easygoing personality typical of orange boys. He and his brother SugarBaby look very similar but JR is a bit bigger & a tiny bit darker in colour. Always a curious & energetic kitten from the start, Jolly is also very affectionate and loves to climb on your lap and give you kisses while purring away in your arms. He loves to play with toys and got along well with all 4 of his siblings as well as the adult cats in his foster home. Jolly is quite an outgoing boy but needs to get used to the new environment at MKC after having felt very much at home with his foster parents. He is at MKC with his brothers Rolo & SugarBaby.

SugarBaby
Adoption Applications Closed
Birthdate: August 14, 2023
Born to an outdoor colony mom kitty, SugarBaby lived in a shed for his first month of life, then moved with his 4 siblings into a PCON foster home. He and his brother JollyRancher look almost identical at first glance but Sugar’s soft silky fur is slightly lighter in colour and he is just a little smaller. He is a big suck and loves to be picked up and held like a baby and will give you kisses. He would always race out of his foster room at any chance he could to explore the rest of the house, but would come back on his own to see what he was missing. SugarBaby gets along with all of his siblings and will wrestle and roughhouse with both his brothers but underneath he is a sweet & gentle soul. He has come to MKC with brothers Rolo & JollyRancher and is adjusting to being in a new environment, meeting lots of people after being very used to living in his foster home since very young. Once he is comfortable in a new setting, this sweet boy will show his friendly & very affectionate personality.

Rolo
Adoption Applications Closed
Birthdate: August 14, 2023
Rolo was the largest of his siblings but his brothers have been catching up. This very handsome tabby has soft fluffy grey & cream fur & beautiful facial markings. Rolo is a wonderful combination of tough and tender. He will roughhouse and wrestle & race around the room after his siblings then run to be picked up and melt in your arms. He lovingly & gently strokes your face with his paw while gazing into your eyes then likes to give little kisses. He’s quite the heartthrob! Born to an outdoor colony mama kitty, Rolo spent his first month of life in a backyard shed. He then moved to a PCON foster home where he has loved playing with toys, climbing cat trees and enjoying life with his 4 siblings. Rolo is now at MKC with his brothers SugarBaby & JollyRancher and gets along well with both. He may find it a little strange being in a new environment & meeting lots of new people for the first time but once he’s comfortable it will be obvious Rolo is not naturally shy at all!

Camelia
In Cabin
Birthdate: May 17, 2023
Camelia is the bravest and most independent of her group of 3 sisters. She is still a very cautious girl in new situations as well as with new people, but Camelia will likely lead the way in adapting and will help her sisters adjust at MKC. This pretty girl has beautiful solid grey fur. She enjoys playing with toys and loved watching the birds out the window in her foster home. She came to PCON at 7 weeks old with her feral mom cat and her two sisters, Gardenia & Hyacinth. They were all being fed outdoors and when PCON was contacted to help, the family was trapped and taken into fostercare. At 4 months of age Camelia and her sisters were moved to a separate foster home for further socializing. Camelia has come a long way but, at almost a year of age, it’s time for her to move forward towards the goal of finding a forever home. She loves both her sisters and got along well with adult cats in her foster home. Camelia will do best if adopted into a home which includes another kitty. She needs a calm and understanding adopter to let her adjust at her own pace and reveal her full personality in the security of a loving home.

Hyacinth
In Cabin
Birthdate: May 17, 2023
Hyacinth is a pretty grey tabby who is the shyest of her group of 3 sisters. They were born outdoors to a feral Mom cat and regularly fed by a lady who contacted PCON. The little family was trapped when the kittens were 7 weeks old and all were cared for together in a foster home. The sisters were later moved at 4 months of age to a second foster home for more socializing. Although Hyacinth does enjoy being petted, she still is reluctant when touched & does not seek attention. All 3 girls love their toys and most of all each other. Hyacinth and Gardenia are particularly close and often cuddle together. The sisters have been fully vetted and reached the stage where they need to meet more people and learn to feel safe in new environments. It will be a big adjustment for Hyacinth to get used to new people after having lived in a quiet home with her Foster mom. She would be happiest and adjust best if adopted into her forever home with one of her sisters and will need a calm, patient adopter.

Gardenia
In Cabin
Birthdate: May 17, 2023
Gardenia is a beautiful longer haired dark grey tabby. She and her sisters were born outdoors to a feral mom and fed by an older lady who contacted our rescue. PCON initially cared for Gardenia & her mom & sister kittens all together in a foster home. At four months of age the kittens were separated from mom & moved to another foster home for more socialization. Gardenia had learned from her mom cat to be cautious with new people & in new situations. She will still hiss if frightened or unsure but really means nothing by it. She loves both her sisters & her toys and loves to cuddle with Hyacinth. She has made the most progress while in her PCON foster home and now really enjoys attention once she gets to know you. Gardenia loves her canned food and although she is much thinner than her two sisters she is healthy. Gardenia has completed all her vetting and also reached the point where she needs to meet more people. She is feeling very scared and timid at MKC and will likely always be a shy girl needing extra time to adjust to any new environment. Gardenia loves her sisters and although she is particularly close to Hyacinth, braver Camelia is also a positive influence.

Leyka
In Cottage
Birthdate: July 11, 2023
This beautiful dark classic tabby is a cute & quirky girl. She’s cuddly & sweet one minute but can also be a drama Queen! Leyka is very chatty and will tell you what’s going on – even howling if she thinks another kitty is picking on her. But then after complaining, she’ll get right back into the game. Leyka can be a little feisty but it’s harmless. This energetic kitty loves to play with toys, her sister Essie, and show off her flexibility by rolling around on the cat tree. This classic tabby beauty was one of 9 kittens born in a PCON foster home to a stray cat who came to our rescue when very pregnant. Like their brother Radner, Leyka & Essie were diagnosed with a serious disease as younger kittens and received treatment for several months in a foster home which delayed their availability for adoption. Fortunately medication, as well as loving care, was the miracle needed to completely cure FIP (Feline Infectious Peritonitis) and now Leyka, as well as Essie and Radner, are all ready to find forever families. Leyka would love to be adopted with a friendly playmate into a family that can give her lots of time and attention. She is completely healthy and there is no risk to other pets or humans when adopting an FIP survivor. Leyka deserves to live and enjoy a normal healthy life with a loving family of her very own.

Essie
In Cottage
Birthdate: July 11, 2023
This petite girl with golden eyes and soft shiny black fur is sweet & cuddly. Essie is more laid-back than her sister Leyka and a little shyer in new situations. She was one of 9 kittens born in a PCON foster home to a stray cat who came to our rescue when very pregnant. Like her brother Radner & sister Leyka, Essie was diagnosed with a serious disease as a younger kitten and received treatment for several months in a foster home. This delayed Essie’s availability for adoption but fortunately there was a complete cure for the disease. New medication, as well as loving care, was the miracle needed to completely cure FIP (Feline Infectious Peritonitis) and now Essie is all ready to find a forever home. Essie would love to be adopted with a friendly playmate and she gets along well with her more outgoing sister Leyka. She will need to get reacquainted with her brother Radner as he was treated in a separate foster home from his sisters. Essie was used to living with adult cats as well as kittens and a small friendly dog, and she got along great with everyone. Essie is completely healthy and there is no risk to other pets or humans when adopting an FIP survivor. She deserves to live and enjoy a normal healthy life with a loving family of her very own.

Radner
Adoption Applications Closed
Birthdate: July 11, 2023
Radner is a cute, healthy “teen” kitten with a solid & sturdy build. He likes to look out windows, sit in boxes or snuggle under covers with his head on the pillow. He’s a lap cat but is not clingy and loves to play with every kind of toy. This very smart boy knows his name and will come when you call him. His forever home will need to be kitten-proofed, as Radner will try to open cupboards & even jump in the fridge if it’s open. He can get up on top of any high shelf and has been known to destroy a few window blinds in his foster home. This handsome boy was one of 9 kittens born in a PCON foster home to a stray mom kitty who came to our rescue when very pregnant. He spent his first few months in the company of his kitten siblings as well as several adult cats. Then Radner’s life changed quite drastically. He was diagnosed with a serious disease and had to be moved to another foster home to receive medical treatment for several months – instead of siblings to play with, Radner was a solo kitty living a quiet life with his foster mom. Fortunately medication, as well as loving care, was the cure needed and now Radner is all ready for adoption. Radner is one of our miracle kitties who survived FIP, (Feline Infectious Peritonitis) a disease that used to be viewed as incurable. Thanks to medical discoveries, total recovery is now possible. This means a survivor like Radner can go on to live a perfectly normal kitty life. He is at MKC totally ready for adoption but is feeling very shy at the moment. Radner needs to adjust to another change in environment and will need time to get used to living in a busy place & meeting strangers. This special little boy will hopefully find a forever home soon. Radner deserves to live and enjoy a normal healthy life with a loving family of his very own.

Available to Meet at Foster Home

Boswell
Birthdate: September 15, 2022

Boswell, aka Boz, left My Kitty Cafe in 2023 to stay in a foster home while being treated for an inner ear infection. He’s totally recovered now and feeling better than ever and ready to meet potential adopters in his current Foster home in Guelph. Born as part of a large outdoor colony, Boz survived as a kitten through his first winter living outside, sheltering in unheated farm buildings, fed by the neighbourhood. Since coming into the care of Purrfect Companions, Boz has had obstacles to overcome in order to be ready for adoption. He has one sensitive eye that tends to water but this requires no medications or treatment. This special boy is so distinctive & unique looking with his curly tail & glossy charcoal grey and white coat of fur. He has so much more going for him than just good looks; Boswell is a very intelligent boy and the best companion kitty. He just seems to know what you need and is always ready to be there for you. Boz loves to snuggle & curl up on your lap but can also keep himself occupied for hours, looking out the window or playing with his ball tower toy. Boz is easy-going and gets along well with other kitties but is not dependent on kitty company. He is enjoying one-to-one attention in his foster home but this is just a temporary situation. This young adult boy has moved around enough since his rescue & now just needs to make one more final move, to his forever home.
